– Due to a technical problem, eight paragraphs were omitted from a Page 1 article Wednesday about the convictions of two men in the 1976 slaying of Lisa Cabassa. The missing passage explained how one of the men, Paul Terry, was charged with the murder after being identified in a lineup by witness Judy Januszewski. She told police she witnessed the murder at 6:37 p.m., but later changed it to 8 p.m. after checking her timecard at work.

Another man, Keith Jones, recanted a statement he gave to police, saying it was coerced. Police denied that accusation. The missing passage also related that police dropped charges against three other men, including James Davis. The entire article can be read on the Tribune’s Web site at chicagotribune.com/dna.

– In some editions of the Metro section Wednesday, a story about the Lisle Village Board’s proposal to build a multiuse athletic system in conjunction with Benedictine University gave an incorrect seating capacity. The plan is for a stadium that would seat more than 5,000.

– In Wednesday’s Good Eating section, a recipe for shrimp pie did not specify the type of shrimp needed. It should have read 3/4-pound of uncooked medium shrimp.

– In Wednesday’s WomanNews section, credit lines for staff reporter Barbara Brotman and freelance writer Leslie Goldman were omitted at the end of the abortion story.

– A review in the Jan. 19 Books section of two books about the Lewis and Clark expedition had a mistaken reference to the movie “Dances With Wolves.”

– A photo caption on Page 5 of the Dec. 22 Business section misidentified a subject. The caption for the photo (above) should have read: Anthony Snyder (left), and Fred Grubbe, employees of the National Fraternal Congress of America, shop for their office’s holiday toy drive.

The Tribune regrets the errors.
