Yeah, we’ve heard (and printed) “The Bachelorette” rumors that Charlie wins and Trista is already preggers, but we didn’t think she’d dump Chicago’s Jamie so soon, as she did on last night’s episode.
Trista complained that, despite being a perfect match on paper, things with Jamie still felt forced. Evidently, things weren’t forced with smooth Charlie, sleazy Russ, shy Ryan and mysterious Greg, the guys she kept for the next round.
“Life isn’t fair,” Jamie said. “You’ve just got to deal with it.”
Well, ladies, Trista’s loss is your gain, and we learned a lot more about Jamie last night. He feels commitment is the most important part of a relationship. His parents have been married 35 years. He wears size 12 shoes. He can mop a floor. He asks if it’s OK to give a first kiss. And he’s a man with goals: to play professional basketball, to write a book and to help urban youths. He’s done the first and is working on the second.
We doubt he’ll have trouble finding a new relationship, nor that you’ll have trouble finding him. The chase begins.
