John Garner Trulson, age 55, of Mettawa, IL, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville after a sudden stroke. Born in Worcester, MA, graduate of Worcester Academy and Culver Stockton College. Recent retiree from Allmerica Financial. Devoted husband of Kathleen, nee Lauer; loving father of Laura Anne, Katherine Barry and Eleanor Barry; son of Ruby and the late Anton “Buzz” Trulson of Worcester, MA; brother of David (Linda) Trulson and Judith (Paul) Renkowitz; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Memorial service and reception 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 at Gorton Community Center, 400 E. Illinois Rd., Lake Forest, IL.
