Mary E. ‘Mae’ Blaesing, nee Gorka, 94, of Arlington Heights, formerly of Chicago, beloved wife of 57 years of the late Herbert F.; loving mother of Jerry (Joanne) Blaesing and Joyce (Don) Fett; cherished grandmother of 12; greatgrandmother of 22; dear sister of Frank (Dorothy) Gorka, Edward Gorka, Joseph Gorka and the late John, Stanley and Walter Gorka and Anne Jarecki. Mrs. Blaesing was a resident of the Church Creek Retirement Community in Arlington Heights since 1995. She was a long time member of St. John Fisher Church in Chicago, and a member and former officer of B.P.O.E. #1331 Elks Ladies Auxiliary, and the Grandmother’s Club in Evergreen Park.
