John O. Hafner, 83, of Lake Bluff, passed away on January 25, 2003, at Lake Forest Hospital, survived by his wife of 51 years, Margaret, nee Walworth; his children, Amy (Jim) Protto, Irene and Brian (Penelope); and a grandson, Trevor. He was preceded in death by a sister, Libuce Antrim. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, January 30, 2003, 7:30 p.m., at Grace United Methodist Church, Lake Bluff (847-234-9163). In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the church.
