Anna May Brown, nee Kimmell, 92 of Willow Springs. Formerly of Evergreen Park and Chicago. Died January 17, 2003 of natural causes. Beloved wife of the late Walter L.; survived by grateful sons and daughter: Walter K., of Willow Springs, Marc J. (Joan Mungovan) of Oak Lawn, Gary P. (Cindy) of Henderson, CO., and Bonita Brown-Igleski, of Jacksonville, FL.; grandmother of eight; great-grandmother of seven; fond sister of Alan Kimmell, of Kimmell, IN. Mrs. Brown was born December 18, 1910 in Kimmell, IN. and raised on the family farm. She graduated in 1931 from DePaul University in Greencastle, IN. and received her Masters degree from University of Nebraska in 1933. She was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority. She began her teaching career at Beecher High School. Ater taking time to raise her young children she returned to teach English at Eisenhower H.S. in Blue Island until her retirement in 1971. Arrangements were by Kelly-CarrollGrady Funeral Home, in Chicago. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
