Richard Dent has interviewed with the Bears for a job as an assistant coach.
Dent, 42, would fill the vacancy left when defensive line coach Rex Norris resigned. The opening caused a stir last week when Hall of Fame linebacker Mike Singletary said he had been rebuffed in his attempt to get a job with his old team and instead took an assistant’s job with the Baltimore Ravens.
