Werner H. Meyer, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 25. Loving husband of Barbara; devoted brother of Herman, Walter and Herbert; cherished father of Anthony, Elisa, Barbara Ann, Cecilia and Mary Lou; a fun-loving grandfather of six, and very active in the Catholic faith. Werner (Grampa) was loved by all. Visitation Thursday, Jan. 30, from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Alvarez Funeral Directors, 2500 N. Cicero Avenue, Chicago. Memorial Mass will follow at noon, 12 p.m. at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, located at 2451 N. Lamon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to your Church soup kitchen.
