I was a bit concerned Tuesday night when President Bush advanced his agenda to reduce taxes and disarm Saddam Hussein, more than likely requiring a massive U.S.-led military campaign. I was struggling to calculate how the math would work out.
Hmmm, add a very costly agenda and reduce taxes; how can this be?
Then it dawned on me–the president has enlisted the assistance of magical gnomes. Of course!
I feel so silly worrying about a burgeoning budget deficit that would mortgage my children’s future.
Those magical gnomes sure do come in handy!
