It’s absurd for Bears defensive coordinator Greg Blache to say Mike Singletary would need to get his feet wet first before becoming an NFL coach. Singletary was a teacher on and off the field for the Bears and spent many hours studying film and preparing for opponents.
He also would lend his support whenever it was needed–did Blache ever hear about Mike coming to the aid of Alonzo Spellman? And if Ravens coach Brian Billick wants him for Ray Lewis, doesn’t that say something?
