Ken W. Erickson, 53, passed away on January 24, 2003 at home in Fort Mill, S.C., formerly of Streamwood, IL, surrounded by his family and friends after a strong fight with Pancreatic Cancer. Devoted husband of Irene, nee Wolanski; loving father of Scott Erickson of Ormand Beach FL; adored grandfather of Alexanderia of Huntley, IL; beloved son of Kenneth and Ethel Erickson; a dear brother of Melvin and Wayne (Susan) Erickson, a loving brother to sisters Laura (Ronald) Koskela and Sandra Cherry; beloved uncle to nephews and nieces; and a loyal friend to many. A celebration of Ken’s life will be held at Chandler’s-Schaumburg Golf Club, 401 North Roselle Road, Schaumburg on Saturday, February 1, 2003 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Woodfield Area Children’s Organization (W.A.C.O) would be appreciated, 847-359-0727
