This week the Australian government mailed packets to every home that offer advice for keeping “terrorism survival kits.” The kit, the packet advises, should including food and water for three days, sunscreen, a flashlight, a fire extinguisher, a battery-powered radio, a repair kit for the car–and a deck of cards for entertainment.
