James Ward Bialk, 72, of Chicago, IL lost his courageous battle to cancer. He was a Korean War Purple Heart Veteran, former police officer and the 1976 International Gin Rummy Champion. Sports, cards and golf were his favorite pastimes. He is survived by his four sons, William (Pam), Robert (Lori), Richard, Gary (Gail); proud grandfather of Brandi, Jessica, Rachel, Kristin, Nicole, Brett, Richie, Briana, Blake and Bianca. A private memorial will be determined at a future date.
