Jackson had 19 points and 11 rebounds, and Merritt added 16 points and nine rebounds as Marquette (17-3) won its ninth straight game and ended Wake Forest’s (16-3) four-game winning streak.
Josh Howard scored 14 of his 20 points in the second half and Taron Downey added 10 for the Demon Deacons.
