Mildred E. Fohrman, 76, passed away Feb. 7, 2003 in Phoenix, AZ. Loving mother of Susan (Christopher) Mead of Riverhead, NY and Scott (Jean) Fohrman of Wilmette, IL; fond sister of Marcia (Sumner) Shafmaster of North Miami Beach, FL and Stan (Barbara) Gass of Deerfield, IL; dear grandmother of Dylan Mead and Jessie and Maia Fohrman; aunt to many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents Samuel and Mena Gass; and sister Sally Saltzman. Funeral services were held in Phoenix on Feb. 10. A reception will be held at the home of Scott Fohrman, 831 Central Ave., Wilmette on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the Chicago Anti-Cruelty Society, 510 N.
