When Jada Pinkett Smith needed to shed pounds after giving birth to 2-year-old daughter Willow, she got to kicking right away.

Smith, who stars in the upcoming sequels for “The Matrix,” pushed through a grueling workout regimen just one month after giving birth, the World Entertainment News Network reports. She endured 18 months of kickboxing and stunt-training sessions to prepare for her role as the hovercraft pilot Niobe.

The result: 15 pounds of added muscle and a body that would make hubby Will Smith jealous, even in his “Ali” days.
