In response to Frank Drazan (Voice of the people, Jan. 25), I take exception to being called a member of the “worst generation.” I, too, am a senior citizen of the same vintage as Drazan and have the same strong feelings to avoid war. The contribution our generation made to the world at the time of World War II is something to be proud of. Never will I forget the young men who never came back nor those who came back mentally or physically scarred.
My late husband survived 50 missions and was wounded but miraculously came home.
What makes Drazan think that our generation is not voicing concerns to the president, our congressmen, Colin Powell or anyone else who might have influence to keep the peace? I know I have, and I know others who have.
