Led by Mike Wilkinson with 16 points, Wisconsin trounced Michigan 73-42 Wednesday night to take over first place in the conference from the Wolverines (16-10, 9-4 Big Ten). Wilkinson was 7 of 10 from the field in leading the Badgers. Alando Tucker finished with a double-double–12 points and 10 rebounds–for Wisconsin (20-6, 10-4). Wisconsin is just two victories away from clinching back-to-back Big Ten regular season titles for the first time since 1923-24.
