All this talk that the war with Iraq is about oil makes no sense. If we take over the Iraqi oilfields, there will be an influx of oil into the market. If there’s more oil, there is more gasoline available. If there is more gasoline available, then the price of gas will go down. If the price of gas goes down, the oil companies make less money. Why would the oil companies want to make less money?
