The hawks have been accusing the doves of refusing to recognize that there is a problem in Iraq. This, of course, is nonsense. We doves are perfectly aware of the problem in Iraq. What we reject is the idea that the best possible approach to the problem is a full-scale pre-emptive military assault on the Iraqi people.
