Boosted by demand in southern Europe, BMW says sales of its motorcycles rose 8.1 percent, to a record 103,020 last year, its 10th straight gain. BMW, the largest motorcycle maker in Europe, has about 14 models for on- and off-road riding. It has been making motorcycles for 80 years. In the U.S., sales rose 3.7 percent, to 13,500.
