I was told if I did not quit smoking, I could either go blind, be crippled or it would kill me. That was in 1955. I quit.

When I would go places and ask people not to smoke, they tell me, “If you don’t like it, stay home.”

I say to smokers: If you don’t like smoking bans, stay home.

Your smoke is dangerous to the health of others.
