Frank Brown, of Rohnert Park, passed away at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital on Thursday, February 27. Mr. Brown fought a long and valiantly against the kidney disease that took him from us at age 48. Mr. Brown was something of a legend in the world of dialysis, as an untiring advocate in getting better care for his many friends on dialysis around the country. Mr. Brown was born in Chicago, October 14, 1954. He lived in Sonoma County for close to 10 years. Mr. Brown is survived by his mother, Frances Brown of Chicago; three brothers and two sisters, brother Tom of New Zealand, his wife; and nieces, Tara and Safayra, Julius of Seattle and Chuck of Chicago, sisters Anna and Margaret are also from Chicago. His death will be mourned by many around the country who had been touched by Mr. Brown courageous fight against the medical system. A Memorial service will be held Friday, March 7, at 9 a.m. at Adobe Creek Funeral Home, located at 333 Lakeville, Highway in Petaluma, 707-789-9000.
