Here we are trying to bring democratic institutions to the Middle East, and what does the Turkish parliament do? They vote us down. How infuriating!
No wonder we are pressuring them to take another vote. What good are democratic institutions when they do not come to the right decision?
It just makes you wonder whether we should reconsider the whole thing.
