Whether they are cashing in on the success of The Donnas, The Hives and The Vines isn’t yet clear. Whatever their motivation, Ben Folds, Ben Kweller and Ben Lee have come together to form the newest ‘the’ supergroup: The Bens.
The trio spent a few days in Nashville at Folds’ new studio recording a four-song EP, which will only be available at stops on “The Bens Rock Over Australia” tour this month, but fans of the various Bens can look for a stateside LP soon.
