PrivatAir says two new 48-seat Airbus A319 LR aircraft will be used in its new direct business-class Munich to Newark, N.J., and Dusseldorf, Germany, to Chicago services on behalf of Lufthansa. The jets will be put into service May 19 and June 9. PrivatAir and Lufthansa established the first business-class only trans-Atlantic service between Dusseldorf and Newark in June 2002.
