To help commemorate the 100th anniversary of Ford, to be held in Dearborn, Mich., June 12-16, Ford wants anecdotes from people who have been touched by the company and its products. Visitors to www.ford.com are being asked to relate their experiences on a site called “Your Stories.” If you own a Ford vehicle (Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Volvo and Land Rover) and want to display it at the celebration, register at www.ford.com. For information about the Ford Centennial Celebration, call 866-410-0367.

– The Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky., is raffling a Dale Earnhardt Signature Series Corvette Z06 June 30 as part of Corvette’s 50th Anniversary Celebration. Tickets cost $25 each and can be purchased at www.corvettemuseum.com.

– Civil War buffs and tourism officials have dedicated 27 markers along the route of a Confederate raid into Indiana and Ohio. Signs mark Indiana’s 185-mile section of the John Hunt Morgan Heritage Trail. Morgan, a Confederate commander, led 2,000 soldiers on a 1,100-mile rush from Tennessee through central Kentucky and southeastern Indiana and into Ohio before he was captured. The trail features roadside signs, a compact disc with music and sound effects that explains what occurred at each location, maps, a booklet for adults and educational materials for schoolchildren. Kentucky and Ohio are also working to highlight their sections of the route of Morgan’s raid.
