John Rudell, late of Chicago, formerly of Crete, passed away on March 14, at age 46, loving son of Patricia, nee Johnson, and the late Theodore Rudell; dearest brother of Christine and the late David Rudell and adopted brother of Bud (Maria Villastrigo) Lucarelli; fond nephew of Bill (Ruth) Johnson; loving uncle of Michael and Christopher Lucarelli. John was a pipefitter for 30 years of Local #597 and he loved fishing. Visitation will be Tuesday 2 to 7 p.m. and Wednesday 2 to 9 p.m. at Hirsch SpindlerKoelling Chapel, 507 Exchange St., Crete.
