When Arkansas gets its first Starbucks in May, just five states will be bereft of a free-standing outlet of the ubiquitous coffee purveyor: Alaska, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and West Virginia. But the Seattle-based monolith’s CEO says it won’t be long: “We don’t know a market that we’ve ever saturated,” Orin Smith told shareholders Tuesday.
