The preliminary plan for Mission Hills Estates, a new 12-home subdivision north of St. Charles, has been approved by the city’s Plan Commission and is expected to get the nod of City Council in early April.
Developers of the 25-acre Kane County subdivision, located north of Bolcom Road on Crane Road, are required to get approval of the city because the site is within 1.5 miles of city’s boundary. Lot sizes will run from 1.36 acres to 2.82 acres, according to city planner Michele Ribant.
