Preliminary autopsy results confirm that a body found in a lake is that of a University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire student missing since November, police said.

The death of Michael Noll, 22, has been listed as a probable drowning, Police Deputy Chief Gary Foster said.

The body showed no signs of trauma, he said.

Noll disappeared Nov. 6 after leaving a bar near the campus where he and some friends had celebrated his birthday.

Noll was one of four college-age adults in Minnesota and Wisconsin to disappear last fall. Investigators say the disappearances are not related.
