John S. Nelson, 77, died on March 29, 2003 in Ft. Myers, FL after a long illness with Parkinson’s Disease. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Lenore, nee Austin; daughters Cindy (Michael) Burns, Linda (Vito) Manone, and Lauren (Brian) Wismer; four grandchildren and two stepgrandsons. A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, April 23, 11 a.m. at the Community Christian Church at 1970 Riverwoods Rd., Lincolnshire, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson’s Disease Research Society, 2100 Pfingsten Rd., Glenview, IL 60025. Arrangements made by National Cremation Society in Ft. Myers, FL.
