Now that the snow (hopefully) has melted for good, it’s not so easy to ignore those ratty abandoned tires and old milk jugs adorning the neighborhood’s vacant lots. So clean it up. The city will help Saturday by providing cleanup tools for the lots and scrapers and paint for the graffiti. Also, the city will pay individuals, not businesses, 50 cents for each old, rimless tire they take to 2505 W. Grand Ave. or 900 E. 103rd St. For information, call 311.
