I fear that the people of Iraq are about to pass up the wonderful chance for enduring freedom being proposed by the coalition countries. I fear that the constant competition for recognition and power between the versions of Islam being practiced will prove to be a major stumbling block in any negotiations.
I fear that a government of the people, for the people and one that is responsible to the people is far from the mind-set of many Iraqi people at this moment.
I fear that any constitution created for Iraq, without separation of church and state, will be doomed to failure.
