My first reaction to the symbolism created by using a deck of playing cards to inform U.S. troops of the most wanted in Iraq was disgust. Cards, after all, are used to play games.
Is that what this war is, a game?
I can see our forces sitting and playing a game of poker–with “Husseins or better” to open.
Who are the “wild cards” in such a game?
And the joker???

I understand the need to help our troops identify these individuals. I would like to think there was a better way.
