McDonald’s has turned to the power of prayer.

The fast-food giant scored a divine sponsorship this month, teaming with the Roman Catholic Church in Spain to sponsor Pope John Paul II’s visit there, Adweek.com reports.

A highlight of the Pope’s trip was a massive pray-in at a Madrid aerodrome, where more than 500,000 attendees received a backpack full of papal merchandise, including a “You Will Be My Witness” tour cap, rosary, prayer book and vouchers for dinner (a burger, fries, soft drink and an ice cream or baked apple pie), from McDonald’s, of course.
