– Union Grove, Wis., Lions Club will hold a car show as part of its 23rd Annual Chicken Barbecue. Trophies will be awarded in 15 categories. Entry cost for a car is $7; admission for spectators is $2, and free for children 12 and younger accompanied by an adult. The car show will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 1 at the Racine County Fairgrounds, Highway 11, Union Grove. Call Bill Heinz, 262-878-1451, for tickets.

– The Ford Centennial Celebration Model T Car Show will be sponsored by the Model T Ford Club Midwest Chapter from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 14 at Prairie Ford, 601 W. Roosevelt Rd., West Chicago. Call Len Cousineau at 630-719-9225.

– The Illinois Railway Museum will operate a caboose train as part of its 50th anniversary activities June 7. Admission to the museum, which includes train rides, is $8 for adults and $6 for children. The museum also will have free admission for dads with a fare-paying child on Father’s Day, June 15. – North Shore Corvette Club will hold a “Bow Tie Extravaganza” car show for Corvettes and other Chevy vehicles. Trophies will be given in 26 categories. Entry is $20, $25 after Saturday, and admission for spectators is $3, or free for children 12 and younger. A portion of proceeds benefits Great Lakes Burn Camp, a Michigan facility for child burn victims. The show starts at 9 a.m. June 15 at Bernard Chevrolet, 1001 S. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville.
