Exactly what point was Rick Morrissey trying to make in his May 24 column when he said Annika Sorenstam “beat Bob Estes, ranked 16th in the world, by two strokes”? What are you trying to say here, Rick? Are you insinuating that Annika is a better golfer?
How about this: Spike McRoy, Brent Geiberger and Olin Browne, who were ranked 108th, 109th and 110th on the 2002 money list, beat the No. 1 female golfer pretty handily. Rick forgot to mention that.
