This is regarding Steve Chapman’s column (Commentary, May 18) about the U.S. failure to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. That fact does not make the U.S. look embarrassed; rather, it makes Saddam Hussein look stupid. He gave up his personal power and wealth for nothing.
