A Vermont man is accused of stealing $4,000 worth of maple syrup from a store and reselling it to a wholesaler. Stephen Bain, 49, is suspected of taking about 90 gallons of the syrup. No charges have been filed in the case, but Bain has other larceny charges pending against him.
