Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
I attended the Blues Fest last weekend. While I walked around, listening to the various artists, I was surprised by the cost of the food. With each food ticket carrying a face value of 50 cents, a hot dog cost six tickets, or $3; an ear of corn cost 10 tickets, or $5. While vendors at these lakefront festivals should be able to charge enough to cover their expenses, I do not understand how an ear of corn that costs 10 or 20 cents at the store, can cost the equivalent of $5 once it is grilled. Getting a taste of Chicago is beginning to be very expensive.
