Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

You wouldn’t know it by reading last Sunday’s Tribune, but the White Sox also had a big series over the weekend vs. a team they last faced in the World Series.

Your paper had six pages of Cubs-Yankees coverage on Sunday, whereas the Sox had one article on their game vs. the Dodgers that wasn’t even as long as the story of the New Jersey Devils-Anaheim Mighty Ducks hockey game.

The Yankees have been coming to Chicago every year for the past 100 years. But now that they are playing the darling Cubbies, all of a sudden it’s a media-driven circus around here.

I know the Cubs are your team, but this is ridiculous. It’s no wonder why some White Sox fans derisively refer to your paper as the “Cubune.”
