Was there an epidemic of schoolchildren downloading pornography from the Internet in our public libraries?
My guess is no.
A more likely explanation for this misguided legislation is that some right-wing ideologue in Washington dreamed it up as a means of painting the Democrats as being in favor of making pornography available to children.
