Your June 10 editorial “Poland seizes its destiny” was a historical account of Poland’s struggles and accomplishments. I was disappointed, however, at the omission of Lech Walesa as the courageous leader of the Solidarity Union. Would this movement have survived without his inspired leadership? How soon we forget our heroes.
