Joann Landers, nee Schaffer, age 66, passed away on July 2, 2003 at home surrounded by her family. She was a resident of Downers Grove. Beloved wife of the late Robert Gaston Landers; loving mother of Dirk Landers, Stacy Landers and Jason Landers; proud grandmother of Loren Froehling, Jodi Froehling and Morgan Mungerson; fond sister of Madra Henry and Donald Schaffer. Joann will be remembered for her contributions as a loving mother, grandmother and homemaker and her community involvement in the Infant Welfare Society and the Junior Women’s League. She will be missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 19 at 10 a.m. at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
