Oh no, it’s not the Olsen twins–that would be letting you off too easy. Hanson’s back, people, and they’re bringing acoustic instruments!
The trio of mop-topped brothers, whose “MMMBop” may have been the most annoying post-“Macarena” hit, are hitting the road for a 13-date tour that stops at Schuba’s on Southport Avenue Aug. 20.
The pop group, label-less after parting ways with Island Def Jam, will sing new songs from its yet-untitled fourth album.
“People can play [our songs] on the radio and girls can like it, and guys don’t have to be offended by it or vice versa,” middle brother Taylor Hanson recently told Billboard.
