Before free agency and the advent of so many players changing teams, baseball’s All-Star Game meant something to the players and the fans. This new incentive might just bring back the passion that some have lost.
Then again, I wonder why some Chicago fans are so uptight about this. Wouldn’t they just be happy to have their respective team (Cubs or White Sox) playing in October–even if it was on the road?
