Eleanor E. Ortega, age 74, of Carillon in Plainfield, IL, passed away Friday, July 18, 2003 at her home. Loving wife of Peter M. Ortega; mother of Kathleen (Robert) Lifka, Anthony (Sandra), Susan (Thomas) Cipra, Thomas, Evelyn (Thomas) Killian, James (Jo Anne), John, William (Colleen) and Margarite Ortega; grandmother of 14; sister of Richard (Jeanie) McLain and Marion Goritz; and aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded by one brother, Charles McLain. Visitation TODAY Sunday, July 20, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Chapel, 606 Townhall Dr., Romeoville. Funeral on Monday at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Plainfield for 10 a.m. Mass. Private Inurnment: Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
