The 50th anniversary of the armistice that ended the Korean War is next Sunday, and to commemorate the event, the West Chicago City Museum is opening an exhibit saluting West Chicago residents who participated in the “Forgotten War.” The display, which formally opens Saturday and will run through Nov. 22, features artifacts donated or lent to the museum by local veterans.
