Every person who likes the happy rhythms of salsa will miss Celia Cruz very dearly (“Songs, chants–and tears; Thousands honor salsa queen Cruz,” News, July 22).
Beyond the happy beat and the happy lyrics she not only carried a permanent smile, she personified happiness in perpetual motion.
